Hailing from Canterbury, UK, lotusbliss is the result of a literal lifetime of creating, experimenting, noise-making and camaraderie between brothers Josh, Seth and Adam. Since their 2019 debut they've garnered critical acclaim with the release of three “spellbinding” EPs .
They’ve been spun on BBC Radio 6, crowned 'Record of the Week’ on Abbie McCarthy’s BBC Introducing show twice and had multiple placements on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds’ playlists, as well as meeting praise from Under The Radar, Earmilk, Wonderland, Atwood Magazine, Songwriter Magazine & Fresh on the Net for their "emotive indie rock enlaced with wistful beauty".
Their brand new EP 'An Aching Sea' released on September 2nd - a collection of songs journeying through the search for mental serenity, escaping entrapping circumstances, self-acceptance and the concern of falling short of the future you've dreamt of, soundtracked with lotusbliss' signature energetic yet dream-like sonic construction.
With a DIY spirit and an ethereal sensibility, the sound of lotusbliss marries ambient soundscapes, high-octane guitar, raw lyricism and infectious melodies, whilst also taking advantage of the vocal similarity of siblings to blend their voices in and out of unison and harmony.
